Business Professionals Learn Best Practices for Retaining and Attracting Young Professionals

(DAVENPORT, Iowa) – Area business professionals will learn what efforts are being made to retain and attract young professionals to build the workforce in our region at the next DavenportOne Chamber of Commerce Toast & Topics program on Tuesday, June 3, at the Bettendorf Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:15 a.m. The program will run from 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Rep. Elesha Gayman and Generation Iowa Commission member Emelia Martin will present the best practices guidelines for employers to attract the retain young professionals. The Generation Iowa Commission, appointed by Gov. Culver, was established to advise and assist the Iowa Department of Economic Development in activities designed to retain and attract the young adult population.
